PISCATAWAY, NJ — The two bodies found in a car floating in a partially frozen pond in Piscataway Tuesday morning have been identified as an Edison woman and her nine-month-old son, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Piscataway Police Chief Thomas Mosier. Tamequa Robinson, 30, of Edison and her nine-month-old son were found dead inside their car in New Market Pond, said authorities. Police are investigating what caused the car to go into the pond and have not yet said if the deaths are being investigated as accidental. The cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of autopsies on both moter and baby by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner's Office. At approximately 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, authorities responded to the area of Stelton Road and Lakeview Avenue where officers located a car floating in the pond. Inside the vehicle, authorities located two people who were pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Joe Naccarato of the Piscataway Police Department at (732) 562-1100 or Detective Paul Kelley of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at (732) 745-3330.
