Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs: The Colorado State Patrol and the Colorado Springs Police Department meet to discuss the grim rise in traffic deaths this last year. According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado hasn't seen this level of traffic deaths since 2002. Click to watch the recorded meeting to find ways we can lower this statistic. (KKTV 11 News)The Colorado Court of Appeals has reversed the verdict of a drug-related case due to substandard evidence handling conducted by the Colorado Springs Police Department. Pedro Rodriguez's Sept. 2017 possession conviction has been reversed due to the misconduct. The Court of Appeals panel has ordered a new trial on Rodriguez's drug charge. Cody Oldham, 17 years of age, has been painting since he was eleven years of age and this will be his second one-man art show at the Galleries.
