ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of burglary, DUI and driving violations. Here is information from the reports: Burglary Edwin Enger, 44, of Addison, was arrested about Thursday on charges of burglary and theft. The incident occurred overnight Wednesday at Elmhurst Frame & Alignment, 672 W. Lake St. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, forceful entry had been made through a rear window of the business. Enger is accused of taking cash from a desk drawer. He was later found. DUI Santos Rivera, 22, of Alsip, was arrested about 3:30 p.m Friday at Route 83 and North on charges of DUI (drugs), unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, operating an uninsured vehicle, possession of open alcohol by a driver and improper lane usage. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Rivera was seen sleeping behind the wheel. Sameh Adwan, 22, of Alsip, was arrested about 8 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI (drugs), unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana by a driver, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and parking in the roadway. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Adwan was seen asleep behind the wheel near York and Lake streets. Esben Garcia-Lopez, 28, of Addison, was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at North End and York on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, transportation of open alcohol and loud muffler. He was released on bond. Pastor Sanchez Felix, 47, of Bellwood, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Interstate 290 and North on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, speeding and improper lighting. He was released on bond. Hugo V. Campos, 35, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 5 a.m. Sunday at Lake and County Line on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. He was released on bond. Driving violations Jorge Velasquez Pasqual, 30, of Schaumburg, was arrested about 8 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Myrtle on charges of no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond. Rudi Y. Ramos Garcia, 18, of Bensenville, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Saturday at York and Fremont on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. The driver was released on bond. Narciso Solis, 48, of Villa Park, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Route 83 and North on charges of no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
