All seven hikers were uninjured following the three-hour rescue by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Malibu Search and Rescue, authorities said.
A Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter hoisted five of the hikers from a gorge, while two hikers were rescued by foot off a cliffside, according to Malibu Search and Rescue.
The seven hikers, between the ages of 18 and 20, became stranded on a cliffside and in a gorge Monday around 4 p.m. The hikers had started hiking around 11 a.m.
