Press release from the Mecklenburg County Government: 1/13/2022 Description1 The first Public Hearing of the FY2023 budget season is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.     The public hearing will be held during the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from the public as County Manager Dena R. Diorio begins to develop the Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. Speakers will be given three minutes to share their comments. Speakers have the option to join the public hearing in-person at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, remotely or by phone. All speakers are asked to sign up in advance by visiting https://mecknc.seamlessdocs.com/f/clerk. Comments may also be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed to Clerk to the Board, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth Street, 11th Floor, Charlotte, NC 28202.
