CHARLOTTE, NC — Midnight Diner, a popular late-night Charlotte destination, is on track to move to East Trade Street in Uptown, according to a permit filed on behalf of the restaurant. The permit seeks to build a location at 420 East Trade Street on less than an acre of land near the Spectrum Center, according to local news affiliate WCNC. The area where Midnight Diner has called home for many years is being redeveloped into a "work, live and play" concept. The move still has to be approved by the city of Charlotte.
