BERKELEY, CA — A shooting Monday afternoon in South Berkeley left a victim hospitalized, Berkeleyside reports. The shooting near Sacramento Market (2974 Sacramento St.) was reported to authorities at around 3:20 p.m., the report said. An investigation of the shooting led to the closure of several blocks in the area. The Berkeley Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation of the shooting.
