The next SAT test is just around the corner - Saturday, March 12th. If you haven't registered yet, you still have until February 11th. There are also the April 26th and May 25th dates that remain for the spring test dates. Even though the SAT requirement for college applications have been put on pause for the next few year or done away with completely, colleges will still accept them as part of your package. There has been more than a 20% increase in the number of students who applied to college in 2021. Less than half of all students (44%) who applied to college, however, submitted any test scores. Because college admissions officers have to sort through more applications with less quantifiable information, you can stand out in front of the crowd by working toward a solid score on the SAT or the ACT and submitting the scores with your application.
