They awarded a $1.49 million contract to Washington D.C.-based Foursquare Integrated Transportation Planning Inc. The contract is for services to advance a transit development plan to improve accessibility, connectivity, and mobility of transit throughout the county and region, according to the Gwinnett Transportation Director. (Gwinnettdailypost.com) A gunman at Gwinnett County apartments was arrested after an 18-hour SWAT standoff, police say. The incident started around 6 a.m. with an unknown caller requesting assistance but giving no further information. An arrest was made shortly after midnight, and the man was charged with reckless conduct, aggravated assault, battery, and false imprisonment.
