You will master all the basics of a fascinating field, be willing to work over-time during the busy season (but no weekends!), and have the opportunity to learn more advanced, technical procedures. The main Technician tasks include: • Applying pesticides, fertilizer, and other healthcare products to trees and shrubs safely and effectively. • Accurately mixing and safely storing and transporting pesticides. • Operating spray and injection equipment safely and effectively. • Driving company vehicle with small trailer to application sites. • Identifying common landscape trees and shrubs. • Working closely with our Plant Healthcare Manager to ensure effective and efficient treatments and work flow. • Communicating with clients to provide appropriate customer service. • Working in hot and cold and inclement weather conditions, including over-time as needed.
