Description
Early 40s male singer/songwriter looking for a female vocalist for an acoustic project. Foresee a shared lead/harmony relationship based upon what each song needs. Instrument and songwriting ability a plus, but not strictly necessary.
Maybe a deep-cut reworked cover here or there, but definitely 99% original music, generally within the pop/rock/folk genres. Think Civil Wars, Mates of State, Mamas and the Papas, Silversun Pickups, Fleetwood Mac, B-52s, She & Him, etc. Lots of both vocalists singing most of the time, bouncing back and forth from lead to harmonies to countermelodies and what have you.
Age and previous experience not really a deal breaker for me. More looking for the right person/voice to match my own. Start mostly as a recording project and sprinkle in local shows as time and opportunity present themselves. Looking to make some great music, not trying to be anything more.
