Nashville Tour Stop has an opening for a Kansas City based production assistant intern. Candidates must be current college students with majors in music industry, songwriting or digital media. Preference is given to students doing internships for credit and to students with production concentrations. Internship requires 15 hours per week and can be completed for 2 credit hours. We will also consider a 2021 calendar year graduate. A&R internships require a one year (3 semester) commitment. The Kansas City based intern will be part of a team of 5 A&R interns, with the other four based in Nashville. Candidates must be knowledgeable in Protools, be musically strong and have a good ear. Should have a broad appreciation for commercial music regardless of genre. We currently have six productions on our slate ranging from traditional pop to edgy acoustic country. This internship spans all aspects of A&R: music, arranging, artist development, song development, business, scheduling, and commercialization. Intern will also interact with the Visual Productions side of the company and with our media interns. Reply with resume and cover letter.
