Hiring Shop & Equipment Maintenance Manager (40-50 hours a week) – Start ASAP! Kalish Masonry is currently seeking a full time Shop & Equipment Maintenance Manager for our shop in Middleton. The majority of the work is indoors, so the hours are not weather dependent. We would also be open to hiring a similar position for part time work Monday-Friday as well, feel free to reach out to discuss that possibility. The best fit for this position is someone who is efficient, adaptable, and comfortable taking on responsibility. Our Shop & Equipment Maintenance Manager is an instrumental part of our team to help keep operations running smoothly! We are a masonry company serving the Madison area and do residential and light commercial work. Necessary Requirements: -A valid driver’s license, your own reliable transportation (to get to/from work), and a clean driving record (required) -Positive attitude, attention to detail, cleanliness, and good work ethic required -Good organizational & time management skills -Ability to be on time and work all required days -Basic computer skills required -General equipment maintenance knowledge required -Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis -Forklift experience required -Welding/fabrication experience preferred -CDL a plus Job Duties: -Oversee shop materials and equipment -Maintain, diagnose, & repair shop equipment and tools -Loading & unloading trucks daily -Communicating with foremen: Making sure they have the materials & equipment needed for each job, finding out if they’re having any issues with equipment, etc. -Pick up materials from vendors, deliver materials and equipment to jobsites -Order materials and equipment as necessary -Maintain updated list of shop inventory -Complete quarterly inspections of equipment and tools Compensation: $22-$30+ per hour dependent on experience (paycheck weekly via direct deposit). Health, dental, and vision insurance offered after 60 days. Approximate work schedule: Monday – Friday (hours will be set but are slightly flexible, but must be able to work until at least 5:30pm).
