As we continue to grow on our Management Services Team, we are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join us! This position will cover Harmony at Grandview Commons in Madison, WI. This is a full-time position and benefits eligible. This position will also require the individual to be on call for emergencies. Responsible for maintaining assigned properties in a safe, functional, and attractive condition. Manage unit turnovers including painting and other types of maintenance. Primary Responsibilities of caring for apartment buildings: Corrective Maintenance Satisfy service requests, following company procedure. Assist with apartment make-ready processes. Preventative Maintenance Complete preventive maintenance inspections monthly including: Grounds Building Exterior and Interior Building Equipment Emergency Maintenance on-call for emergency maintenance as assigned (approximately every 3 weeks) Additional Duties Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Establish and maintain good relations with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and co-workers. Schedule outside vendors when services are required. Pick up trash on property to ensure cleanliness and safety of the property. Report all needed repairs to Regional Manager. Assist with other types of maintenance when necessary and assigned by Regional Manager. Maintain confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contracts. Attend/complete all instructional classes assigned by management. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum three (3) years maintenance experience Licenses: A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required. Travel to job sites is required. Reliable transportation. Mileage/time paid for all on-call travel as well as Madison assignments.
