New to gardening? Want to learn how to start your own seedlings? Come grow with us and discver how to go from package to plant! This workshop is specifically designed for beginning gardeners and folks with “brown thumbs.” The tried-and-true information provided will help you build a solid foundation for seed starting. Learn about seed selection, when to start your seeds, proper starter soils, lighting and heat requirements, caring for seedlings, and much more. Registration cost includes handout with notes from the presentation, materials list and purchasing guide, and a $10 Seright's Ace gift card! Class sizes are limited to 10 people per session in order to provide a more personal experience and offer more hands-on oppportunities. Beckie, also known as "The Seed Whisperer," is a veteran certified Idaho Master Gardener and a Seright’s Ace Hardware associate in the Post Falls Lawn & Garden department. She has been starting vegetable seeds for friends and family for years and will share what she has learned that works and – most importantly – what does not.
