Tour de Brew QC is a 40 mile charity bike ride along the Mississippi Trails in the Quad Cities. Saturday, April 30,2022, is the day to come join the Crew and enjoy a brew or two as we ride bikes, sing songs, and raise money for cancer! 2022 marks our 8th Year of hosting Tour de Brew QC and we have an amazing lineup of ride stops and great sponsors who have come together to help us make a difference. Our Mission is to help raise awareness and funds for Cancer Not for profits! Now all we need is YOU to make 2022 the BIGGEST YEAR YET!!! Get Registered today! As we release details check our Facebook page! Our event in short starts with a pre-party kick off the weekend on Friday, April 29 at Icons Martini bar in Rock Island. Then official riding will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 30. Icons opens at 9:00 AM with their famous Bloody Mary Bar and don't forget to grab your breakfast burrito that is included in your registration fee. As always, we are looking for sponsors! Official start end location is Icons Martini, 124 18th St, Rock Island, IL 61201 As always you can start at any of our participating locations but they may not be open as early as Icons so pay attention to ride details. What Time Does the Ride Start? Icons will open at 9:00 AM. On Saturday, April 30 and riding begins at 10:00 AM. Please check in on Facebook as we keep you in the loop of each Sponsor stop details and specials. Cost ? A ride ticket is $45.00 Your ride covers insurance, expenses to host a ride, a bit of SWAG and most of all a generous donation to our charity partners to help keep their cancer programs viable. Will Masks be Required? Remember individual businesses may have their own policies and the expectation is that all Tour De Brew QC participants will follow them. Is there a Silent Auction? We will no longer hosts a silent auction in 2022. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Most venues are open to all ages. If you plan to order an alcoholic drink you will need an ID. What is my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There are parking lots and non-metered street parking options surrounding Icons in Rock Island and of course if you are local you can always just ride your bike from home…extra miles are good miles! What can I bring into the event? Anything you would need to be outside on a bike ride. Helmet, Lights, Money, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, dress in layers What's the refund policy? There is no refunds as this is a charity event that is held Rain, or Shine. We also reserve the right to modify the route for participant safety. Check in Official Check in will be at Icon's Martini Bar Friday, April 29 from 4:00 PM -7:00 PM and we will resume check in on Saturday Morning, April 30 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM. Breakfast Burritos are only available at Icons Saturday starting at 9:30 AM. until they are gone or 11:00 AM which ever comes first. [email protected] or add a jersey to your cart at checkout. Katie's Club will provide information about Cancer services to families with Cancer. Katie's Club will support and advocate for organizations that provide services to support the cancer patient and their family for the whole cancer journey. Katie’s Club is committed to supporting existing programs through our charity bike ride. While Katie’s Club is a new charity the bike ride we host Tour de Brew QC is not. Tour de Brew QC is an annual event. The Inaugural ride was organized in 2014. Since the inception of Tour de Brew QC we have been able to bring awareness, educate our neighbors and raise funds for Cancer Charities that benefit our community’s cancer patients. Our ride supports Katie’s Club a local 501C3 that provides funding to other local cancer non-profits. This year we will be supporting Children’s Cancer Connection that supports the entire family during the entire cancer journey. The local Livestrong at the Y programs in Scott County, IA and Two Rivers in Moline, IL. Tour de Brew started with a simple agenda to help our neighbors and bring attention cancer services in the area. Our ride started with 110 riders and in 2018 we had 563 riders from 9 states and 93 cities. Thus putting Tour de Brew QC on the map as a great weekend getaway and adding to the economic impact on the Quad Cities through the money spent by our participants at local business during their stay.
