A gathering to mark the Celtic festival of Imbolc. Let's reconnect to the rhythm of the year through seasonal living, ritual & community! What is Imbolc? Based on Celtic tradition, Imbolc marks the halfway point between winter solstice and the spring equinox. It is one of eight holidays that make up the Wheel of the Year, an annual cycle of seasonal festivals. Observing the transition of the seasons has been important to people throughout time and is an important way to live in tune with nature’s cycles. Imbolc is a festival which celebrates the days becoming longer again and the very first stirrings of spring. ~~~~~~ This will be an outdoor event, so dress accordingly. A fire will be lit at sunset. Bring a journal and pen and your favorite mug.
