Job summary Duffy Properties (Waltham, MA) is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to work in our company-owned commercial buildings. Candidates applying for this position must have general working knowledge and experience with commercial mechanical systems. Responsibilities will include: Daily and/or weekly operational checks of common areas and mechanical spaces within the buildings.Work closely with members of the HVAC and Plumbing departmentsFulfill service requests in a timely manner.Maintain accurate and detailed records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, work-in-progress, etc.Assist as needed in snow removal (shoveling, de-icing)Available for rotational weekend on-call coverage (2 times per year)Requirements: High school diploma, or GED.Two years of experience in facility services capacity.Valid driver’s license.Ability to work from ladders and lifts.Must be able to effectively communicate.
