Mind Body Soul
Please join me for a two hour guided sound meditation.
For those who haven’t experienced a sound meditation by me, I go through a sequence of factors that help the participant engage with the sound to receive maximum benefits.
I first give a talk about how to listen, how to redirect your attention, and tools for you to use through the meditation to encourage a constant stream of awareness.
Then, to help with receiving, I guide you in some visualization exercises to help nurture gratitude in your heart. That helps relax your body and puts you in a state of receiving, as fear and tension contract and limit new information to be received.
After that, I move into breath work to further enliven the body but also relax it. How we Breathe is an indicator as how we are feeling, consciously and unconsciously.
From that I move to vocalization- humming, releasing tension, mmm’s, ah’s and ohm-ing. This helps stimulate the vagus nerve to encourage the body to relax further.
Lastly, I lead you in a guided meditation based on what I sense is beneficial for the group. I like to give 2 hour meditations because we generally are in a state of tension and stress and need that much time to fully unwind.
It truly is a whole experience. Scents, sounds, relaxation and restoration.
Bring a mat or cushion to lay on with pillows for comfort and a blanket if desired. I recommend an eye mask to reduce external distraction and to encourage going deep within.
I’m looking forward to spending this time with you
