Description
This 40gal Aqueon tank housed a corn snake for 3 months.
I made the lid from a thick sheet of aluminum with 1/4" ventilation holes because my snake had been abrading his nose on the screen lid of his previous enclosure. This tank holds humidity very well (too well for a corn snake in WA actually, which is why I'm no longer using it) and would be better suited for something like a ball python.
The lid is lockable with a regular padlock (not included).
There's a full spectrum led fish tank light attached by neodymium magnets to the bottom of the lid. When used on its inline timer and it on and off slowly creating a nice sunrise/sunset effect. I added a black foam hood around the light so that it illuminates the contents of the tank but doesn't shine in your eyes, even when viewing the front of the tank from below.
The back, ceiling, and one side are currently blacked out with a black removable PVC sticker wrap.
$80 for the tank with lid and light.
$40 for just the tank without the lid and light.
