Press release from the City of Roanoke: January 16, 2022 Due to the inclement weather, Valley Metro Bus service will be delayed in opening on Monday, January 17, 2022. The first bus leaving Campbell Court Transfer Center will be at 12:15 p.m. The first Smart Way Bus heading to the New River Valley will leave Campbell Court at 12:50 p.m. The first Smart Way Express will leave the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTC) at 12:30 p.m. The Star Line Trolley service has been cancelled for Jan. 17.
