bass player looking to make some music

I've been playing bass for around 4 years now and have played piano for around 7 (not nearly as well as bass), and I've always just wanted to make and perform music. I've been in other bands that eventually fell apart due to lack of time on other members parts but I'm looking to get back into playing with others and/or making original music. I like all kinds of music, mostly rock and jazz, qnd more experimental stuff like prog rock or psychedelic jazz. but I find joy in playing all kinds of music, I love playing covers just as much as writing original songs. My biggest influences would be bands like yes, king crimson, genisis, pink floyd, gentle giant, emerson lake and palmer or jethro tull. Anyways, just hmu if you need someone to lay down some bass lines because I'll be happy to help (:
