JOLIET, IL — Two young men from Bolingbrook who were thrown out of Anthony's Bar and Grill this past weekend were arrested by Joliet police after they returned to Anthony's, shoving an employee and trying to punch a Joliet police officer, police reports show. The incident leading to the pair of arrests at Anthony's happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Afterward, Joliet police delivered Erreon Bolden, 26, to the Will County Jail on charges of criminal trespass, resisting a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer. Bolden's acquaintance, David Croom, 31, was also booked into the county detention facility on identical charges, according to Joliet police. "Officers determined that Croom had been ejected earlier by staff. He then returned to the bar a short time later and pushed an employee," Joliet police reports show. When Joliet police arrived at Anthony's, officers to arrest Croom, but he ran away, according to police. "Officers quickly caught up to Croom, and he was placed into custody after a brief struggle. During the struggle with Croom, Bolden attempted to swing at an officer," Joliet police indicated. Joliet police say Bolden continued to resist officers as they attempted to put him into a squad car. "Officers were eventually able to secure Bolden in the vehicle," police reports show. Bolden and Croom were each released from the county detention facility late Saturday afternoon after posting 10 percent of their $3,000 bail, jail logs reflect.
