Description
The Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law and Policy is a US-based independent think tank pursuing a paradigm shift in human responsibility towards, and value of, nonhuman animals by advancing animal law, animal policy, and related interdisciplinary studies.
We are seeking a full-time Program Assistant to provide critical support to our Directors in order to advance the Institute’s mission and goals. The Program Assistant will be a mission-minded team member that will prioritize the Institute, work synergistically with our small team, and pitch in as needed, with a supportive and positive disposition.
The ideal candidate has strong administrative and communications skills, and website infrastructure and graphic design experience (or the ability and eagerness to learn independently). This role is responsible for a combination of administrative, projects, systems, and research related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire for advancing protections for all animals.
We welcome all mission-aligned candidates to apply. We consider traditional and nontraditional qualifications; feel encouraged to go outside of a traditional cover letter and state how you would add to our culture; what we would gain from having you on our team; and how you align with the Brooks Institute’s mission. Above all, we are seeking the right synergistic fit for our team.
