Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix: A driver is in custody after fleeing from a traffic stop right before causing a fiery crash in South Phoenix. On Sunday night, police attempted to stop a vehicle that was speeding near State Route 51 and Glendale Avenue. As the car tried to evade the scene, it crashed into another vehicle, igniting it on fire. The suspect was taken into custody; the other driver was not seriously injured. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)A two-year-old American Pitbull named Buddy is back home with his family after he got his head stuck in a cement block wall. Buddy's head was stuck in a wall near 43rd Avenue and Broadway Road. The Arizona Humane Society slowly chiseled the wall around his head to free him, then took him to the AHS trauma hospital to treat his minor injuries. (FOX 10 News Phoenix) The Phoenix fire department announced that this summer they will be able to use drones on-mountain rescues. Executive Assistant Chief Scott Walker said that sending drones could be more efficient to find stranded hikers as they would have an aerial view of the mountain. Crews extended hose lines for a fire attack while simultaneously assuring all occupants had escaped the building.
