Job Description Hiring urgently! We are seeking a sales assistant to help with photo and video sales for a dance competition in Huntington Beach this weekend. Retail experience and a background in dance are a plus. Please note that proof of vaccination is required. Thank you. Event date: Jan 20 - 23 (Thursday - Sunday) Theater: Huntington Beach High School Location: 1905 Main St., Huntington Beach, CA 92648 Hours: Jan 20th, Thursday: 4:30 - 9:30 pm (5 hours) Jan 21st, Friday: 3:30 - 10pm (6.5 hours) Jan 22nd, Sat: 9am - 8:30pm (11 hours) Jan 23rd, Sunday: 9am - 6:30 (9.5 hours) You will have 30 min lunch breaks and 15 min breaks. Meals are ususally included at the event. The ideal candidate is able to work all four days, but if you can work Friday - Sunday, you are also welcome to apply too. Thanks! The sales assistant will provide administrative support to sales and other duties as assigned. - Assist customers with photo previews - Check customer order info for accuracy and completeness - Process credit card payments using a Square POS system - Provide excellent customer service - Help select ballet/dance images for sample slideshow Qualifications: Strong communication and problem-solving skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Apple devices and tech-savvy Ballet/Dance background is a plus Compensation: $550 for the gig (Approx $17 per hour) Paid in cash There are also additional weekend opportunities in Feb and March to other cities if you are interested in traveling.
