Qualifications: Experience – preferably 2+ years refrigeration technician. Valid CFC license Type I, Type II or Universal. Full Line Appliance Repair (sealed system, refrigeration, cooking, cleaning, laundry, Ventilation). Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and driver’s license check. Must be trustworthy as some of our contracts allow us to enter unoccupied premises. If I can't trust you... Must be able to pass owner awareness aptitude test, Ride-Along. Must be very customer service focused with the ability to handle unhappy customers. Ability to read, write, and speak English (bi-lingual always a plus). Must be able to lift or maneuver 70 pounds and occasionally up to 200 pounds, (we work for the big boys). Responsibilities: Accurately diagnose and repair home appliances to include; Washers and Dryers, Gas and Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, Ice Machines, Freezers, Downdrafts, Vent hoods, BBQs, Pizza ovens, Trash Compactors, Garbage Disposals. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Ability to communicate effectively – with customers, tech support, dispatch and routing and management. Preferably achieve and maintain: Highest possible first call completes. Low recalls. Parts & truck organization. Knowledge of the product and willingness to learn new product as it is released. Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion. Ability to work both independently and on a team. Basic computer skills and iPad working knowledge. Technical and Mechanical Aptitude. Dispatch from your home or our office to customer locations in order to repair residential home appliances. (Depending on proximity). Process transactions related to the in-home repairs and communicating with the office for out of date information or updating call information. Collect payments, issue receipts, and electronically process repair records, customer data, and technical information via a company-issued tablet or laptop. Ability to read, write, and speak English (bi-lingual always a plus). Must be able to lift or maneuver 50 pounds and occasionally up to 125 pounds. Confidently protect the company by applying logic to each call as to not damage flooring or surroundings for the repair. Understanding of the need for a possible second technician or third if the call calls for it. Why Work at This Company? Additional Info: We are paperless and all service orders and data are done electronically, payments are recorded digitally for your/our protection. We do factory repairs for many manufacturers. All our vehicles are 4-wheel drive, we service when others won't. All training is paid as part of the salary position. All positions in this company are determined by you, Owner quote: "What are you worth to me, Show me what you can take off my back". Because this is a thing, I don't care if you are vaccinated, But customers may ask you. This is based on individual comfort and the comfort of the customer. Masks may be required or optional.
