Job Title: Cabinet Maker Travel Required: 10% Department/Group: Shop Position Type: Full Time Location: Billings, MT Level/Salary Range: $16-$22 Shift: A 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mon- Thur Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified by the foreman and client · Verify and double check all calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges, and side panels, always using blueprints or design plans for reference · Clean and repair all equipment necessary for your work, including table saws, miter saws, and a variety of drills and sanding tools · Install the appropriate hardware, such as hinges and handles, and order replacement materials when needed · Maintain a safe working environment by cleaning and disposing of old materials, such as nails and screws QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or GED certificate · Completion of a cabinet making apprenticeship or woodworking training preferred · Attention to detail and pride in completed pieces · Able to use a variety of power and hand tools and read blueprints PREFERRED SKILLS · Two or more years of cabinetry experience · Construction or carpentry experience · Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues · Driving/ Backup up Trailers
