A Charity Basketball Event aimed to raise money for the SBA Lions and promote engagement in our community. In 2020, Black Men & Women of Valor adopted the Southern Basketball Academy. It’s been an honor to partner with Coach Davis to continue his efforts in executing a robust postgrad program for students across the country. At BMWOV, we believe in the importance of providing platforms where youth are catapulted into their gifts and aspirations. To be successful in this effort, we ensure these platforms are equipped with foundations of leadership and mentorship. When we adopted the Southern Basketball Academy, we acknowledged the areas of opportunities and used those to inspire us to take on this work. Students across the country, specifically students right here in our back yard (Atlanta) need structured postgrad opportunities to follow their dreams. We have added this need to our agenda. In just a short amount of time, we’ve been able to make a tremendous impact! Stay tuned for more information to come!
