I am a professional cellist looking for an indie or folk band. My current band's lead singer is taking her act solo and, as a result, I am looking for a new group. I have 20 years experience performing and am currently getting my doctorate in Cello Performance with a focus in contemporary music. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with my previous band for several years and as a result, I am looking for a solid, long-term position in a band that performs and/or creates albums. I am a versatile player and am amenable to playing different styles of music with the right group. Playing with a band is about more than making music to me, it's about practicing and performing with good people that enjoy what they do.
