Established band looking for serious permanent Drummer

Cottage Grove MN

Description

Kitty and the Entourage are looking for an energetic powerhouse Drummer with a hard driving snare but, also one who is dynamic and will play at the volume level required by the song. We will play out 2–4 times a month give or take. We have a couple of agents booking us and we also get a lot of gigs on our own. we will probably not go back to any more VFW’s, Legion, Eagles. But never say never. Maybe if it’s a slow month will take one. There will be out of town weekends now and then at casinos and we will most definitely get to the best clubs in ’22. The vibe, camaraderie and drive in this band is just as important as music skill, maybe more. You don’t have to be the best but, want to give your best and try to improve. There is no drama in this band and we respect and like each other. We’re looking for a drummer with lots of experience and a fast learner. We will probably have to rehearse at least once a week for the first month or so just to get up to speed and then it will probably be a couple of times a month give or take depending on how many gigs we’re doing. We normally rehearse on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night just after 6 PM in Saint Paul Park. But if life interrupts we’ve been known to do a Saturday afternoon. The reason we don’t play C clubs anymore and are playing B clubs going into A clubs is because we are committed to rehearsal and learning. But also we just enjoy being with each other and love music so rehearsing is not a problem plus, we like the better money and better venues. We have a strong dynamic front woman, a guitarist/voc, and a bass player. We are looking for a 5th member and we have one to audition once we lock in the Drummer. We have all the PA and Lights we need for anything. And anything big will most likely have a house PA and a sound person. Over the last 14 months we have played 28 gigs and headlined on a Friday night in the Colorado mountains for a festival. We already have 16 on the books for’22 and will probably get 20 more. Again we are looking for a veteran who is ready to commit to a easy feeling but hard-working band. This is our first personnel change since we started and we want someone who can chill and stay for the long-haul. We play songs by Foo Fighters, Oasis, SRV, Tom Petty etc. We’re looking for someone who can do from Sheryl Crow to Rage against the machine and everything in between and have the dynamics to deliver on both/all. But we don’t play as many of the normal cover band songs as you hear everywhere. We do play some but we like to say that we play songs that don’t suck. Send a photo in your first response along with any link to you playing drums. Or even attach a phone video. No flakes serious inquiries only please.
