Description
I purchased a 8 week old Holland lop on Christmas, as it turns out she isn’t the best fit for my family. I need to find a good home. She will come with an indoor cage, pellets, hay, bedding and litter box.
I will not give her to anyone, only someone who will be able to give her the same quality of life. Bunnies can be out of cage pets. I currently have her out of the cage half the day and she is 90% litter box trained, No accidents on the floor, and loves to run around with zoomies and plenty of bunny binkies. I have three dogs she is not nervous of them. She has not chewed anything out of cage, but bunnies are prone to chewing cords and baseboards, you will have to be willing to bunny proof if intend to have her out. She requires a diet of hay mainly, small amount of pellets, and lettuce/carrots/leafy greens.
She is skittish of being picked up, it stresses her out. She will need a patient owner who won’t push her limits. She needs to know she can trust you. Being free range she does come up to me and is very sweet and curious, just being handled makes her nervous. Twice I have picked her up not realizing she was scared and she did pee on me, after I have let her come up to me and she doesn’t have accidents. If you force her to be held I would expect her to pee on you as bunnies do this when frightened. You have to respect boundaries. She does let me pet her, while she is in her cage or on the floor, she doesn’t mind it and isn’t scared.
