Online Mock Trial

First Court is looking for 60 fair minded people from King County, WA to participate in a brief online mock trial. Our project is about a lawsuit, so we are looking for people in the area where the case originated who can give us their honest feedback on the facts of the case. UNFORTUNATELY, WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOU IF YOU HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A PREVIOUS FOCUS GROUP WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. We are paying $100 via PayPal or business check for completing a self-paced online trial that will take around 3-4 hours. If selected, you will be able to complete this self-paced online trial at your convenience within a 24 hour window between February 8th and February 9th. You will ALSO need to be available on Wednesday, February 10th for ONE of the zoom deliberation meetings using a webcam from your home. When registering you will be asked to choose from the following times; 9:00am-12:45pm OR 1:15pm- 5:00pm for an additional $100. Total payment for both the self-paced and zoom meeting is $200. This is an online project so participants must have access to the internet, a working webcam, and a Chrome web browser (smartphones may work but our software is not specifically designed to support them).
