St. Mark's Episcopal Church in South Austin is seeking a Cantor / Tenor Section leader for our choir. Weekly duties for singers include: Wednesday evening rehearsal: 7:00-8:30 p.m. Sunday morning warm-up and service: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cantoring approximately once a month for 9:00 a.m. Sunday service Additional rehearsals and services surrounding the holy seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Easter. The pay is $40 per call, averaging $360 per month. Total pay for the academic year will be $3,200 to $3,700 depending on the singer’s availability for special services. There are additional opportunities for paid solo singing in the summer and for weddings and funerals.
