The Hunter's Creek Band, founded in 2017, is a part of the Charities of Hunter's Creek, Inc., a 501c(3) organization. We play big band music. The group currently consists of 2 alto saxophones, 2 tenor saxophones, 1 baritone saxophone, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, guitar, bass, and drums. To fill out our group we are seeking musicians age 16 and up who play piano, trumpet, or trombone. Other musicians are also welcome. We provide free entertainment at community events, such as the monthly farmer's market, senior citizen housing, and the South Creek Library. We rehearse at Osprey Park's recreation building every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The building rehearsal space has plenty of room for social distancing and a full wall of three double doors we keep open for air circulation. Most of the gigs are outside on Sundays. We are part of a charity, so, although we do not pay the musicians, your mileage and other expenses are tax deductible.
