Description

Specialty wire and cable manufacturer with a strong focus on the medical industry. The assembly operator oversees and operates machines to assemble cable components. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and fabricate and modify parts This position is responsible to maintain acceptable production outputs and quality of wire/cable assembly. · Set ups the machine by threading wire through diamond wire dies. · Secures materials according to job specifications · Runs test on wires for cutters Shift time: 8am to 4:30pm OR 5pm to 1:30am While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
