2 year old in tact male Merle pit/hound mix. We originally rehomed him back in March of last year where he wasn’t a good fit for our home. We got him at 8/10 months old and the previous owners (my downstairs neighbors) did no training at all and he spent majority of his time in a crate. The person we rehomed him to surrendered him back to us back in November due to being homeless. We gave him until January to find a new place for the dog to go but his only option right now is an animal shelter which I don’t want to see happen. I’ve been trying to work with him but Im due in less than 4 weeks. He’s pulled me down the stairs and dragged me down to the ground more than once. His name is Charlie. He is extremely hyper active, about 80-100lbs of pure muscle. He doesn’t listen, jumps on people, jumps on counters and stoves, nips small children, absolutely hates cats, when taken outside he barks aggressively and snarls at people and other animals. You have to crate him at night or he’ll rip apart anything and everything. Yet he will bark for a solid 20-30 mins when you first put him in there. He pulls EXTREMELY hard on a leash. I’m 250 lbs and he’ll drag me across the yard into the road with no issues. He needs a home with NO small kids (under 10) and no cats. On the bright side he is a big love bug, is house trained finally and we’ve taught him to sit, give paw and lay down. He needs someone who has the patience and ability to train and work with him. Asking a small revoking fee of $50. Located in Berlin NH but willing to meet within reason.
