Womack Auto Body is looking for an entry level or experienced paint prep/helper to work directly with our paint lead and shop foreman. Womack will train the right person, so no experience necessary. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated to learn and want grow in your career. This is a team/family environment, come be a part of our ever growing team! This position is full time position, Monday through Friday, Typical Hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Benefits are available -More details during the interview process Job Duties: • Cleaning and scuffing panels to be painted • Work Directly with Paint Lead • Masking for and applying primer to repaired areas • Mixing of primer with proper mixing ratio and color • Cleaning of tools and equipment • Mixing paint for paint application • Follows all Safety and Company policies and procedures including PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). • Preform other miscellaneous tasks as requested • Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines • Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal Qualifications: • Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time and work in a variety of physical positions which include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and walking, requires mobility and flexibility to work in confined spaces • Ability to Lift, Carry or otherwise move or position heavy equipment or objects weighting up to 100 lbs. and/or assist others with objects weighing more • Attention to Detail • Excellent Communication Skills • Good Math Skills for Calculating Surfaces and Equipment Requirement • Must work well in team environment • Independent, self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving ability and a strong work ethic • Multi-tasking is a must • Valid Driver’s License is a must Send us your resume, and/or stop by the shop!
