Help keep CL the humane marketplace its founder intended by informing/reminding your neighbors that postings for sales of pets, animal parts, and stud services - all on the CL Prohibited list - should be flagged for removal. This 15” x 21” yard sign is printed on durable 1/8” thick, weather-resistant corrugated plastic supported by heavy gage 22” long wire stakes. According to CL moderators, the rehoming of pets should occur without charge, the exception being reimbursement for a small portion of recent veterinary expenses - supported by receipts - that were incurred for the care of the animal within 2 weeks of rehoming. For example, they define "a small rehoming fee" as not to exceed $40 for any breed of dog, no matter the amount of recent vet receipts or other expenses. Reimbursement for prior guardianship expenses including, but not limited to, feeding, housing, and veterinary care, in the rehoming fee is not allowed. Pet rehoming postings without a specified monetary RH fee and those that exceed $40 dollars should be flagged for removal by the community. Sales of food, medications and accessories should not be part of the RH transaction and must be sold separately or included for free. Asking a $5 donation to cover the cost of printing.
