SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY! Meet our handsome boy Apollo! We've had him for a couple of years now and he is very very very smart! There's nothing that he really doesn't say and he's super sweet. Long story short, we have a newborn baby girl now and Apollo is not receiving the attention he requires and he has become pretty jealous as well. Quaker Parrots require CONSTANT attention. If you do not know this breed of bird, then I suggest you do your research on how much attention they do require and how loud they are. If you don't like a lot of noise, he will not be a good pet for you. He never stops talking. He absolutely loves to be with you at all times. He is a fantastic companion, but it has become too stressful in our home full of three children now, two dogs, and two cats. We need to find Apollo a good home that can provide him the time and effort for his long life span that he will have. As you know these birds are expensive and we paid over $500 for him. This doesn't include his housing, toys, and food. He came from an amazing breeder here in Amarillo and we have his birth certificate as well. His breeder owns a pet shop in town as well that sells his favorite mix of food you can mix with a good chop. We are willing to part with him and his belongings and housing for $750.
