Looking to care for wonderful dogs in a lovely outdoor setting? Do you want to practice grooming skills to become a dog groomer? Are you looking for a fun job with good dogs? This is a private collection of Poodles and Poodle mixes weighing up to 70 pounds. There is no customer service. One dog groomed per shift and the remaining time taking care of the dogs including the following: - Clean out kennels and outdoor runs (we use the least toxic cleaner possible) - Must be able to have full range of motion and be able to lift 30 pounds of dog food - Immediately dispose of dog poop to maintain a clean environment - Clean Windows - Clean Floors - Clean yard of leaves, etc. - Feed Dogs - Wash Dogs - Must be able to communicate with others and work in a team - Must be able to exercise good judgement and work with and without close supervision - Must be punctual and dependable. Flexible hours. Shift begins between 7 and 8 AM. Later shifts are available. - Must be able to follow written and spoken instructions - Must be able to pay attention to the comfort and care of the dogs. All the dogs are very loving - Must be able to provide basic politeness and help create a positive environment - Must be able to communicate with dogs in a calm manner without getting frustrated or excited -Honeybees, mosquitoes, dog hair, sunlight and dust are present in this work environment and must be tolerable -Applicant must have a registered and insured vehicle -No smoking, cooking or visitors on premises -Nondisclosure contract upon hire APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS ABOVE TO BE EMPLOYED Additional Pay for Dog Grooming based on experience.
