Description

Is Dua Lipa ruining your life? Pop, r&b, pop rap making you sick of living?? Agonizingly slow Indie/Alternative music prompting you to question current musician's tastes and sanity? Ok. Do something about it, besides screaming and crying. I play guitar, pro level and write, pro level. We'll do originals and play out. And it'll be great. Cis Gender F no TransW please. Trans doesn't fit the concept. Thanks for understanding. ~influences~ nirvana early zeppelin dirty rotten imbeciles joan jett the sensibles the sonics robert fripp the monkees the pain teens the b 52s blondie the clash jim carroll link wray the easybeats gang of four television the soft boys iggy pop the buzzcocks the homosexuals milk (uk underground power trio 90's) the beach boys wendy o. williams ~and lots more~ I'm writing catchy, melodic, rocking, straight to the point cool stuff. Bring your own tastes and cool vocals wails screams growls purrs snarls sneers hollers cries and whatever else you can dig out of yourself. Be on key, carry a tune, too, with good energy, edginess when it fits, charisma, no fear of performing live, be in command of the song. Generic sounding, Bel Canto, Broadway Theater style vocals, overloaded with vibrato, not needed. Not wanted. It's not the big band era anymore. Fear of success? Run away now lol. We want someone to show up, stay focused and ride to the top. Previous band experience would be really helpful, or, you know how to get things done musically and sounding top notch after working out your parts. Midtown rehearsals. Drums and keyboards, great players, already on board. I play guitar and write. We haven't started yet. So the fantasy of a band rehearsing for months and awaiting your arrival isn't going to happen. That's a different movie. It was hard enough to connect with people who can actually play well let alone find a singer who can show up with the parts worked out and stay on key. But a lot of groundwork is done and continuing. Pic for attention. Rock In Peace, Ronnie Spector, 1943-2022.
