Description
Handyman wanted on an hourly basis to cover property maintenance across Metrowest and South Shore. Please let me know how much you charge on an hourly basis.
Most projects are DIY level tasks which do not require a trade license. This is for maintenance of a small portfolio of residential and commercial real estate. The portfolio grows year over year. Therefore, you can expect consistent and growing demand of work over time, a stable income stream. Most work is not an emergency which can fit your flexible schedule, with occasional emergency request of course.
I have some immediate work to do now if you are available.
Example of work include:
- Fix minor toilet leak, simple DIY basic work such as replacing old parts inside the water tank. Typically, it is NOT work that requires a licensed plumber.
- Install or change a lock
- Install video camera
- Do basic painting
- Change smoke detectors or batteries
- Install a thermostat or change batteries
- Repair, pressure wash, or stain a deck
- Clean roof, gutters, or premises, and do small junk removal
- Run errands, meet and coordinate with licensed contractors on jobs that require licenses, permits, and insurance.
If you can do more skill trades or offer more, please let me know. That is even better. For example, carpenter, plumbing, or electrical work, or squirrel removal from attic and seal entry points. However, you may need a permit, license, and insurance in order to perform.
Ideal candidate must have experiences and basic skills in building maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to, general maintenance repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, light plumbing, janitorial, minor electrical, snow removal, and some landscaping. Valid driver’s license and a reliable form of transportation required. 2-3 years of construction and/or property/facilities maintenance experience preferred.
