This job is for local current or former military and law enforcement to act as role players during training scenarios. The contract has been awarded. **Must have current or prior military or law enforcement background in order to apply** Location: Houston, TX and the surrounding areas Workdays: Week 1: • Monday, Jan 31, 2022 - must attend onboarding meeting to receive gear/uniform and complete paperwork 1400- 1900 • Tuesday Feb 1 – Friday Feb 4 must be available 0900-1700 hrs daily Week 2: • Monday Feb 7 – Thursday Feb 10, must be available 1600 -0100 hrs daily • Duration of work is up to 9hrs This opportunity is for males and females with the required military and or law enforcement skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Following scenario-based training and instructions • Scenarios include real life situations, including opposition forces and realistic responses • Able to deliver a realistic OPFOR performance based on Close Quarters Combat (CQB) scenario objectives for training • Able to provide armed or unarmed positions of scenario role play support • Work for up to (9) “in-field” hours per day General Role Players/Actors shall not directly engage or interact with mission personnel outside of training evolutions. Specifically, no questions or conversations directed at mission personnel when not conducting a role play scenario. • Remain in attire and in character for the duration of the training exercises • Take direction and execute specific directions from managers on site • Opportunities available for all genders Actors/Role Player Qualifications: • Priority hire for active or former military or law enforcement veterans • Male and female role players MUST be US citizens • Basic knowledge and proficiency in small arms handling and Simmunition safety • Must be able to operate Simmunition (paint) capable M4s, 9mm pistols and blank firing AK-47. • Role Players/Actors will be exposed to blank and/or simmunition marking rounds • Role players may be exposed to muzzled working dogs. • Role players may be in close, but safe proximity to training explosives. Role players must be comfortable with loud noises and flashes. • Physically capable of working in multiple weather conditions and be able to climb at least 10 flights of stairs, run, and repeatedly lay down to take cover when required • Wear vests and helmets and have tactical skills experience • Excellent communication skills • Be able to work as part of a team Applicants must live within travel distance to Houston, TX (per diem & travel will not be compensated) Note: Once you apply, we review your resume and email you a questionnaire.
