Cacao Ceremony with a Somatic Sensory Experience Date: Saturday February 12th Time: 1pm-4pm Location: Touchstone Wellness Center Cost: $55 Join Shanna Poveda and Amy Burrell for a light and loving healing experience with the sacred plant cacao*. We will be honoring the Full Snow Moon and our connection with love prior to Valentine's Day through ceremony. The ceremony will include consuming ceremonial cacao, which is a heart-opening, sacred and ancestral Mesoamerican medicine. We will use smoke medicine and sound to ground us. We will then move into a somatic sensory experience* that will be done in silence. This experience is an exercise in building connection through giving/receiving, sound, and physical comfort. There will be no skin-to-skin touching. We will finish with a sharing circle. We will split into groups of four and take turns giving and receiving a sensory bath through musical instruments, pillows, and other comforting items.
