Description

We've all felt betrayed at some point, but what about the little betrayals which go unnoticed? Learn what they are and how to avoid them. We've all felt betrayed at some point or another, but what about the little betrayals which go unnoticed? Over time they build and cause damage to our relationships. Suddenly, to the untrained eye, it feels like there are issues out of nowhere - we feel upset and explode over the smallest things... buy why? These feelings are likely caused by microbetrayals which build up over time and cause harm. Join us for the conversation and learn what microbetrayals are and how to manage them. _________________ New Leaf Conversationalists is a therapeutic group is for people who enjoy & seek self-improvement. As social beings, we grown and learn though our interactions with others. In this group discussion you'll learn what a microbetrayal is, how they impact relationships, how to avoid them, and how to manage them when they occur. Such knowledge helps in building closer relationships with others and salvage intimate connections. ____________________ Near Leaf Conversationalists meets bi-monthly in a private setting where the topics focus on self improvement via improving our emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence (otherwise known as our 'emotional quotient' or EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage emotions to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict. This therapeutic social club brings people together to refine our EQ skills through conversation, authentic connection, classes, and events ran and taught by it's members. As conversationalists, our goal is to learn from each other within the depth and breadth of our discussions. Sharing thoughts and ideas is encouraged, but not required. Some join us simply to learn by listening. Whether you're coming to participate or listen, show up as you are and see what happens. All are welcome.
