Any homesteaders in the area?? My fiancé and I are attempting to establish our own homestead. We have two babies and have had a rough year so we haven’t been able to make as much progress as we’d have liked. We are very hard working and diligent. I taught kindergartners before the pandemic hit and my fiancé is a skilled laborer with experience roofing, plumbing, pipe fitting, setting tile and so much more. We took a chance moving to the area in order to provide a better life for our boys than the city could offer but have had a difficult time getting on our feet. We would appreciate any help or advice. If anyone has extra supplies they aren’t using that could be used off grid such as solar panels, water tanks, campers, even land... we would be more than grateful. We are open to bartering skills, work or goods as I also have a degree in fine art. Thank you!!
