I teach healthy singing through classical technique that is applicable to all singing styles. Emphasis is on freedom in the throat, empowering the breath and focusing the tone. I can help you build healthy technique, gain confidence, prepare for auditions and performances, develop stage presence, improve foreign language pronunciation and become a more complete performer! I have a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University and studied with teachers such as Dr. Jerry Doan (ASU), Dr. Robert Harrison (CU) and with Richard Best at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. I taught private voice and directed the Opera/Music Theater Workshop at Glendale Community College in Arizona for eleven years and have been teaching voice in Boulder the area since 2001. I have extensive performance experience in Music Theater, Opera, Torch Song, and Irish Folk, and have even sung in a variety of funk bands!
