Southwest Florida Military Museum presents Rodger Olson, former Joint and Combined Task Force Commander and Soldier Roger Olson, a retired U.S. Army officer, is a former Joint and Combined Task Force Commander and Soldier. He was involved in operations on the African, European, and South American continents. Olson is an authority on the Balkan Region and will speak to the fall of the Soviet Union and its impact on the Former Republic of Yugoslavia The SWFL Military Museum & Library commits to Honor, Preserve and Educate. They Honor military veterans by preserving America's military history and educating generations about that history. They also house the Invest in America Veterans Foundation who provides local veterans in need with much needed resources and services. This tremendous local jewel houses under one roof a multitude of veteran organizations from Wolfhounds Legacy who trains service dogs for veterans with PTSD to local organizations like DAV, AMVETS, MCL, MOPH, and much, much more. Thier Tuesday Veteran luncheon served over 10,000 free, hot meals last year to Veterans and thier loved ones. The SWFL Military Museum & Library provides a safe place for our local Veterans to connect with other veterans and much needed services.
