Description

CLEARWATER, FL — Cleveland Street is closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic between Garden and East after Sunday morning's gusty winds pulled portions of stucco off the Bank of America building. Inspectors have determined the damage is not structural in nature. Station Square Park is also closed. Hopefully, the incident isn't a portent as the Bucs play the first game of the playoffs. The stucco was located just above a Bucs banner. Police have also closed Drew Street in both directions near Highland Avenue after a crash severed a power pole. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
